April 25-30, 2010, Cincinnati, OH 26th Society of Quality Assurance Annual Meeting and Training Barbara Randolph, Melissa Hughes and Jason Plaxco presented a poster entitled Checklists and Templates: Facility Audit Help or Hindrance. Additional BSI staff attended the meeting and pre-conference training sessions. BSI continues to be a Silver Supporter of SQA.

February 25, 2009, Research Triangle Park, NC National Toxicology Program (NTP) Board of Scientific Counselors Technical Reports Review Subcommittee Meeting Peer Review of six National Toxicology Program Technical Reports prepared by BSI for the NTP.
April 19-24, 2009, San Diego, CA 25th Society of Quality Assurance Annual Meeting and Training Patrick Carver, Barbara Randolph, Melissa Hughes and Jason Plaxco presented a poster entitled Quality Assurance in Multi-Site Studies. Additional BSI staff attended the meeting and pre-conference training sessions. BSI continues to be a Silver Supporter of SQA.
May 1, 2009, North Little Rock, AR BSI’s Medical and Scientific Writing staff will continue to provide Technical Report Preparation Support Services to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences for the next 10 years. The Department of Health and Human Services awarded a new contract that began April 30, 2009. BSI has been preparing National Toxicology Program reports since 1989.

March 31 – April 2, 2003, Philadelphia, PA Drug Information Association Eighteenth Annual Clinical Data Management Conference Michael Bailey presented a paper in the DIA Systems Track of Coding/Dictionary Management Tools entitled "The Lexicon – One CRO’s Experience Using Dictionaries in Clinical Trials Data Management," detailing BSI’s experience using medical vocabularies in clinical data management. Kirk Hicks, Eric Rathman, Michael Bailey, and Don Crone participated in the "Electronic Data Capture Olympics," conceiving and programming an Electronic Data Capture System from a previously unseen set of Case Report Forms, thirty hours being allowed for the task. Don Crone presented the results of BSI’s efforts in the "Electronic Data Capture Olympics."
